I Dream of Sheep Dresser (it has sheep and a castle on it): This is a solid, blonde wood dresser, Dixie Furniture, hand-painted with original artwork by Wendy Molinaroli. The paint is 100% natural, non-toxic DIY Paint Co. 100% clay paint, sealed in clear wax. The dresser is perfect for a baby’s room or a bedroom done in a French Country style. The Story: A neighbor asked if I wanted this dresser. I loved the flat surface and thought it would be great for my next project. It sat for a bit until I saw a beautiful photo of a chateau in France with sheep grazing. I knew that was the picture I wanted to paint. I could not draw the castle on it with chalk, because of the wood trim, so I free-handed the castle with the paint. This was the first piece I had painted with animals of any sort in 40 years, and what better animal than sheep for a bedroom, a built in cure for insomnia?
